Elon Musk has introduced New Twitter feature since he took over months ago.
All new Twitter feature introduced by Elon Musk – Users send messages known as “tweets” on Twitter, a microblogging and social networking platform owned by the American firm Twitter, Inc. Unregistered users can only view public tweets with some restrictions, however registered users only can post.
Following the takeover of one of the biggest social media platforms, Twitter by the World’s richest man Elon Musk, new and exciting features have been introduced to the app. We have listed every new feature that you must know.
Theses New Twitter feature include:
1. Twitter Blue
Twitter Blue is a subscription service that allows users to buy the verified blue tick for a monthly fee of $8.
This feature also allows users to differentiate between authentic and influential users on the platform, including government figures, sports stars, entertainment figures, journalists, brands, and organizations.
2. Multimedia Tweets
Multimedia tweets allow users on the platform to post videos, images, and GIF in a tweet.
Users can easily locate related content by simply swiping on the current content, reminiscent of TikTok.

3. Edit Tweet feature
Just like many other social media platforms, an already-published tweet can easily be modified or edited.
This feature is still in the works and will be available to only Twitter Blue subscribers.
4. Co-Tweeting with other users
The tweet is inspired by the famous saying “two heads are better than one”. It allows more than one user to publish a tweet by inviting them. This invite can also be declined by the invitee and the tweet will be automatically drafted or deleted.
5. Longer Content Notes
Just as with every other social media platform, there is a limit of text to which a single user can type into a tweet. With the new feature, a user can publish longer content on the platform.
6. Shopping feature
This feature is an E-market that will allow marketers to update or notify their subscribers whenever a new product is introduced.
Users will be able to touch a “Remind me” button on Product Drops whenever a retailer tweets about a forthcoming launch. The button is located at the Tweet’s very bottom.
7. Monetization
Twitter has introduced Twitter Create, a microsite aimed at assisting creators in generating revenue from their accounts, following in the footsteps of TikTok’s Creator Portal and Instagram’s Creator Lab.
Previously known as Twitter Media, the website offered product manuals, case studies, and interviews with social media authorities.
8. Pin Reply
The Pin Reply feature is another way of engaging in a tweet, it allows users to pin selected comments to the top of their reply section. Platforms like Instagram and Youtube already have this feature.
In other words, the new CEO of Twitter has been working tirelessly to improve the platform.
Despite the new features, Elon Musk has received lots of backlash from active Twitter users. Statistics have also shown that the platform lost over 14,000 users after the Space X boss took over.
